ChaCha is an Exciting, Rhythmical , Staccato Dance from Havana, Cuba. Immensely popular for the beginning, the Cha Cha is a dance that has never gone out of style and is a perennial favorite at weddings. Chacha music is created by Enrique Jorrin in early 1950’s. The rhythm is developed from Danzon – Mambo. In 1952, an English dance teacher named Pierre Lavelle travelled to Cuba, and brought his version back to the British Isles. The name Cha Cha is derived from the vocal imitation of the sound of the feet in the chasse, which included in many of the steps
